How long is a calibration certificate good for?
New units come with a calibration due date of 2 years from the date of manufacture. However, inventorying such products sometimes cuts into this time period weeks or months. We guarantee a calibration due date of at least 1 year past the purchase date.
How is a device recalibrated?
Devices are recalibrated by Control Company (the manufacturer). Detailed instructions and a recalibration form can be found on our website. Click Here
What is the difference between Excursion-Trac™ and Memory-Loc™?
Excursion-Trac™ devices have a rolling memory structure that stores the most recent 525,600 temperature observations (it will over-write data). Memory-Loc™ devices have a permanent memory structure that stores 1,051,200 temperature observations (it will NOT over-write data and cannot be cleared when full).
