
Medical Product Specialist
VeriCor, a leading innovator in mobile medical solutions for emergency and disaster response, seeks a dedicated and skilled Medical Product Specialist. This multifaceted role encompasses product assembly, quality assurance, technical support, and product development collaboration responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, technical aptitude, and a dedication to producing high-quality, life-saving medical products for public health and hospital initiatives nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the precise assembly and packaging of emergency medical products in accordance with established quality standards and work instructions.
- Prepare and manage shipments of finished goods to fulfill customer orders.
- Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to provide technical insights and support.
- Develop and maintain accurate bills of material and work instructions for production processes.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure all products meet stringent specifications.
- Utilize the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for relevant tasks and data management.
- Engage with colleagues and customers to gather feedback and contribute to the development of next-generation Response-Friendly™ products.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with emergency medical products and a strong understanding of their functionality.
- Excellent manual dexterity and spatial reasoning abilities.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with new software systems is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including routine lifting of up to 20 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 80 lbs.
- A proactive approach to learning and a desire for professional growth within the organization.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Practical “handyman” skills with experience in mechanical assembly and repair.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant technical certifications or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field (commensurate experience will also be considered).
